Day 3: Prelims :)

Well our competition is over! We had prelims all day today beginning with interview this morning. Everything went really well - the judges were so nice and my interview was spectacular. This evening we competed in swimsuit, fashion wear, and evening gown. It all went really well! I stayed to watch the other divisions and Team Michigan is rockin' it! We have rehearsals again in the morning starting at 9am and then tomorrow night is Finals where we learn the results of this evening. Thanks for all of the support, I really appreciate it. Of course, I will post again tomorrow with the RESULTS!!!! Keep your fingers crossed . . . :)

Day 2: Rehearsals

This is going to be short and sweet because I am exhausted! Today we had rehearsals all day - we learned our opening number and competition walks. This evening we had a pajama party and relaxed. It was a very long day and we begin our competition with interviews in the morning. Tomorrow evening is prelims, so I will post as soon as I can tomorrow. Thanks for all of the support.

Day 2 Registration and Orientation~ Hayley

7:00am~ Let's the games begin! I was up and getting ready before my Mom came to my room to wake me up! I was really excited to get the party started :)

8:45am~ Met up with my sister Queens to go to get registered. It was really nice to see all of the other contestants... it's is always nice to try to put a face with a picture :)

12:00pm~ Pow Wow with Team Michigan and then grabbed a bite to eat with my sister Queens.

2:45pm~ Out to the waterfall for our Teen Swim photoshoot. It is SO HOT here!!!
I definitely had to go for a swim afterward!

4:30pm~ Going to get ready to go to Arabian Nights for our night out!!! I will post pics from there later!

Day One: Registration/Orientation and Swimsuit Photo Shoot

Hello all from Sunny Orlando! I am relaxing in my room for a little while and thought I would update everyone thus far. This morning registration began at 9:00am and I got to meet all of the delegates - everyone was really nice! Maria was really great and seems to have a wonderful week planned for us. At noon we were released for lunch, so my sister queens, Hayley, Donielle and Stephanie, had a "Team Michigan" chat and then grabbed something to eat. I had to be at the waterfall for my swimsuit photo shoot at 1:20 so after lunch I came back to my room to get ready. It was really fun and I can't wait to see the pictures, they're going to be amazing! Now, I am off to mingle until I have to get ready for our dinner theater tonight. I'll post again later.

Update on Day 1 from Miss Teen Michigan Galaxy ~ Hayley Eisenhardt

3:00 am~ Up and getting ready to head to the airport in Detroit. Believe it or not, I was too excited to be tired! We loaded up the car and went to pick up my Personal Assistant and all around #2 Mom, Linda, along with Sally Arredondo, Miss Jr. Miss Michigan Galaxy. They and my mom and best sister MacKenzie, Miss Pre-Teen Michigan Galaxy headed to the airport.

5:30 am~ At the Detroit Metro Airport, checking in (10 suitcases), and letting the Northwest Ticket Agents wear my crown! Everyone was sooo sweet, even at THAT time of the morning!

7:10 am~ Up and in the air to Orlando! My Mom flew us all FIRST CLASS! Way to go Mom! MacKenzie and I slept right through breakfast!

11:30 am~ Arrived at the Caribe Royale...NICE!!! The waterfalls are amazing! Way to go Maria!!! Time for a swim!!!

1:30 pm~ Started to see other Delegates arriving at the hotel. Tifarah Brumback, Miss Great Lakes, Team Canada (All 4 Queens), Miss Jill Myers, Mrs. North America, Darlene Deeben, and Mrs. Germany, Wendy Sledd.

Sometime today... The elves decorated the door down the hall with pictures of me!!! It even lights up and plays MUSIC!!! I am a lucky girl :)

3:00 pm~ NAPTIME!!! I need the beauty sleep!

6:00 pm~ Time for another swim with Sally and MacKenzie before dinner. Of course while I am swimming I see a lot of the other delegates arriving. Miss Teen Southern Illinois, Kirstie Childerson, Denise McKnight, Mrs. Galaxy (She was one of the women that crowned me in Michigan), and as I was leaving the pool... I got to see Miss Maria! she was wonderful! She knew who I was right away and gave me a big hug. I also got to meet Miss California, Andrea Elam.

7:00 pm~ Stephanie Hunt (Mrs. Michigan) arrived!!! I LOVE Stephanie! She looks incredible! She's a knockout!!! And to think... she is even better on the inside :)

9:30 pm~ Just got back from hanging with my sister Queen Kristen Skiba (Miss Michigan). It is wonderful to see her! We plan for our Galaxy experience to begin tomorrow. Time for bed!!! I will write more tomorrow, and I will have pictures I promise!

2:30 am: My alarm went off and I sprang out of bed with anticipation to begin my trip to Internationals.

3:30am: A stretch limousine pulled into my driveway filled with my family to take me to the airport for my

6:15am flight.

3:00pm: After a bit of a delay, I finally arrived in Orlando where, again, I was greeted by a limo to take me to the Caribe Royale Resort where Galaxy Internationals is being held.

4:00pm: I checked into my hotel room, which is beautiful, as is the entire resort. I relaxed by the pool for an hour and will continue to relax for the rest of the evening and prepare to begin my quest for the title of Miss Galaxy in the morning.

Internationals

Well the ladies left for Internationals all this morning! I have yet to hear from them but there is really nothing to report since nothing really happens until tomorrow! I will let you know once I hear from one of them and will post pictures!
